The Annual Vacation Buyback process is now open. It will close on Friday, January 12, at Noon (CT). In accordance with JCBA Section 8.F., Flight Attendants have the option to buyback a portion or all vacation days accrued during 2023 (carryover days are excluded).
Ballots for the 2024 National Officer Elections were mailed to the membership on December 27, 2023, from our vendor in the New York area to the addresses on file with APFA. Members have just begun to receive them over the last few days

Yesterday, DOT Secretary Duffy ordered a reduction in flight capacity at 40 major airports beginning tomorrow, with further cuts expected in the coming days if the government shutdown continues.
The APFA Fall Board of Directors meeting convened on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Minutes for this meeting will be published to the APFA website no later than thirty (30) business days after the conclusion of the meeting per Policy Manual Section 4.A.7.b.(3).

On October 1st, the company discontinued the practice of making “courtesy calls” when Reserve Flight Attendants do not electronically acknowledge ROTA and ROTD assignments when required.
