EULESS, TX– Today, American Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA), ratified a new five-year contract, adding $4.2 billion of value to the existing Flight Attendant contract.
With 95% of eligible Flight Attendants voting, 87% of American Airlines Flight Attendants voted YES to ratify the 2024 agreement.

A Special APFA Executive Committee Meeting was held on Thursday, July 25, 2024. In accordance with the APFA Policy Manual, the official minutes are now available on APFA.org.
We wanted to update you on the Reduction in Staffing Presidential Arbitration held in April. APFA and Company will submit closing briefs to the Arbitrator on August 16, 2024. Once the Arbitrator receives the closing briefs, they will review the case in its entirety and render their decision.
